Well ..we have five hearts in this pretty Redwork embroidered purse so I hope its not too noisy!
Redwork was traditionally worked on white linen with 'cutesy' looking designs but I have tried to update the image somewhat with a more sophisicated grown-up look.
I like the look and feel of natural fibres and when I found this great weight linen it really sang to me and said "make me a Redwork Embroidery". Well I say embroidery - its more quilt-broidery since I actually quilt the design.
To soften the look of the purse a smidge and to add a hint of romanticism to the piece I have lined the purse with a really pretty pink country-cottage cotton.
Measuring 5" wide by 5.5" deep it makes an ideal coin purse or is a good size for hiding all those girly bits you dont want the rest of the world seeing.
Comes with a self-coloured zippered fastening.
