Recently we found a wasp spider in our garden. No, I'd never heard of one either and we had to do some googling to find it! Luckily for the spider it's harmless so it lived to see another day - not that I could say the same for any mr Wasp spiders lurking in the garden. No, for the male wasp spider its 'thank you and goodnight' once he has done his job of baby making - yes once thats done mrs wasp spider expresses her gratitude by eating him! Anyway, they are an amazing creature with beautiful yellow and black stripes which make them look remarkably like a wasp, the yellow and black colouration was so inspiring I just had to rush off and make this yellow and black 'buzz' bag to remember it by.
It measures 16.6" wide by 13" deep with a 12" x 3" 'waistband'. The handles are 1.25" wide x 26" long. It comes fully lined with a black and white polka dot cotton liner and has a magnetic snap fastener to keep it closed.
Simple, yet stylish this is an ideal bag for adding a splash of colour to a plain dress or trouser suit and is an ideal size for all those essentials we just have to carry!
